Tlamelong Two-Weeks Training Graduation
On the 25th October 2024, seventeen learners and three staff members at Tlamelong Rehabilitation Centre successfully completed a two-week textile training program, generously sponsored by TIKA.
During the ceremony, Acting Secretary General Ms. Mpho Menyatso expressed her heartfelt gratitude to TIKA for their invaluable support, emphasizing the program's impact on the participants' futures.
The Turkish Embassy in Botswana Ambassador His Excellency Ahmet Idem Akay expressed pride in witnessing the significant progress the learners made during the training, highlighting their dedication and hard work.
TIKA Program Deputy Coordinator Mr. Ali Kaya encouraged the graduates to remain committed to their craft and continue enhancing their skills, underscoring the importance of lifelong learning in their personal and professional development.
The learners shared their gratitude to the Turkish Embassy for the opportunity, noting how the skills acquired during the program will empower them to create better lives for themselves and their families.
