On October 14th, the Turkish Embassy in Botswana launched a support initiative for the Botswana Red Cross Society at the Tlamelong Rehabilitation Centre. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency Ambassador Ahmet Idem Akay for hosting this event, which highlights the embassy's unwavering commitment to BRCS’s efforts in assisting individuals with disabilities.

The event also marked the inauguration of a two-week textiles training program facilitated by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), aimed at empowering participants with vital vocational skills.

BRCS Secretary General and also Chief Executive Officer Mr Kutlwano Mukokomani said this program aligns seamlessly with the Botswana Red Cross Society mission which seeks to ensure that youth with disabilities have access to quality education and services that promote their independence and self-sufficiency.
