Botswana Red Cross Society in partnership with Greater Gaborone District Health Management Team - DHMT and World Health Organization conducted rapid house to house visits to investigate possible cases of polio.
The public was encouraged to allow health officials who will be wearing identifying uniform and having identifying documents to conduct this crucial investigation. The house to house visits ran from the 19th of August to the 23rd. We visited many areas including Ramotswa, Tlokweng, Mogoditshane, Mmopane and Gabane just to name a few.
