Botswana Hosts Southern African Partnership Of Red Cross Societies Conference
On behalf of the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC), Southern African Partnership of Red Cross Societies (SAPRCS) and Botswana Red Cross Society, Botswana Red Cross Society will host a conference today in Gaborone (Grand Palm Hotel)
SAPRCS is a network that brings together Red Cross and Red Crescent movement top leadership of Southern Africa (SGs, Presidents of the National Societies, Heads of cluster delegations for both IFRC and ICRC, and some relevant technical IFRC and ICRC personnel as well as Partner National Societies working in the region.) The main purpose of this meeting is to strengthen cooperation and collaboration through their collective synergy, encourage and challenge each other to be better leaders of their respective National Societies and Challenge each other to soar higher individually and collectively. The three IFRC delegations of Harare, Mozambique and Pretoria delegation will bring together ten members of the IFRC namely: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia.
