Botswana Red Cross Society, in partnership with UNICEF, is supporting the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs in
Hukuntsi, Boteti, Letlhakeng, Ghanzi, and Mabutsane districts to address malnutrition among children under five through community-based care.
A total of 82 Community Health Workers have been trained and deployed to support health facilities under the Government’s Primary Health Care revitalisation agenda. They will be moving door-to-door, identifiable by BRCS-branded bibs, to share information, identify malnourished children, and link families to care. Please welcome and support them.
